The Summit Dinner
Time: 6:30 pm to 9.00 pm
The Summit will be preceded by a special reception and dinner to support TERI’s Lighting a Billion Lives (LaBL) campaign. The campaign, a unique entrepreneurial model of clean energy service delivery, aims to bring clean renewable solar powered light to homes without electricity, thus facilitating resumption of children’s education, a kerosene-smoke-free indoor environment for cooking, and improved livelihood opportunities. Aimed at increasing awareness about the cause and raising funds, the dinner reception will further enhance TERI’s efforts in bringing light and hope to the underprivileged.

Day 2: 25th April, 2012
High level CEO Dialogue*
Time: 7.00 am-9.30 am
Setting the mood to the U.S.-India Energy Partnership Summit a High Level CEO Dialogue inviting top CEOs from the United States and India, will be held. As a curtain-raiser to the main summit, top business leaders from both countries will discuss the role of business in accelerating the adoption of green policies and technologies by their economies. The session would be moderated by Prof. Jeffrey Sonnenfeld of the Yale School of Management.

U.S. – India Energy Partnership Summit 2012
Time: 10.00 am-6.00 pm
The day long summit and will bring together leading policymakers and practitioners from both the countries, in order to facilitate a meaningful dialogue on energy security and clean technology development that identifies key areas for U.S.-India cooperation and foregrounds concrete action-plans.
